Seeing Red

I’m not sure why we save the color red for holidays (Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Fourth of July come to mind).  I have been using red to add a pop of color to an otherwise neutral outfit for years and the images below recently inspired me to pull out some of those pieces again.

For some reason, though, I don’t always think of it for interior spaces.  I’m not sure why not.  It works well with black, blue, gray and even brown.  It works in kitchens, home offices, and everything in between.

So, in honor of Valentine’s Day (we can’t let pink have all the glory), I have been hunting down some interesting ways to use red at home.  Here is what I have come up with.
